Adult Ministries

At First Baptist Norfolk, our Adult Ministries reach people of all ages and seasons of life:  Singles, Contemporary Adults and Mature Adults or those Young at Heart.    

Singles

We have Bible Study classes at 9:30 and 11:00 for Singles of all ages. These Classes are diverse and meet the needs of singles in all stages of life. We invite you to try each class and find a place where you connect!  In addition to Sunday Morning Bible Study, there are many group events where all of our singles join together for fun and fellowship.

Single Adult ministries

Contemporary Adults 

Our Contemporary or Young adults (ages 25-55) have numerous opportunites for Bible study on Sunday Mornings. There are classes for married adults with small children and those with grown children, or classes geared toward single moms and single parents.   We have classes for "Empty Nesters"  and mixed classes where people from all walks of life gather together.  These classes plan their own activites and fellowship together regularly.  So check out the Bible Study Finder and visit classes to find the right one for you.  

Young at Heart

Welcome to one of the most exciting ministries of First Baptist Norfolk. Here you will find active men and women over age 60.With early retirement following an active and productive career, Young at Heart is just the place to continue to use gifts and skills you have developed. Established ministries and activities can always use your talents and new and exciting activities can be initiated using your interest and skills.

We have weekly and monthly activities where you can meet new friends and participate in activities that interest you.
