Welcome to the Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church of Norfolk!               

First Baptist Church of Norfolk values and believes in children! Our children’s ministry serves children in 1st - 5th grades and their families. We seek to provide a place in which children of all ages can learn about God’s love in a way that is developmentally suited to them. Our priority is to create a loving, nurturing environment for our children, as they learn about God through a wide range of activities.

We realize that spiritual foundations are formed at an early age, so we encourage children to learn about Christ at an early age. We do this by providing opportunities for children to get involved and be exposed to Christ’s love. Through their involvement, we seek to enrich the spiritual growth of each child, develop our children into responsible Christians and minister to other needs of children and their families.

Through a wonderful combination of great facilities, committed, loving, and trained teachers, excellent teaching materials, and an almost boundless variety of learning experiences, we offer a fully integrated learning environment for your child.

·D- Dedicated to the family—To provide resources for the entire family unit to help them experience their full potential in Christ.

Our Children's programming is offered Sunday and Wednesday evenings, as well as many special activities and events during the year.Additionally, we offer a dynamic, high-energy week of Vacation Bible School and Children’s Camp (completed grades 3-5) during the summer months.
