Education Ministry

Teaching people the Bible is one of our passions @ First Baptist. Why? Because the Bible is God’s Word. It is the truth of God, unique in it’s composition (2 Timothy 3:16-17), powerful in it’s message (Hebrews 4:12), and everlasting in nature (Isaiah 40:8.)Some of Jesus final words recorded in Matthew 28:19-20 include this instruction to …teach all I have commanded.”

For many people the Bible is a mystery. For others, it is a clear message of hope and help in their everyday lives. Our desire is to help everyone who comes our way, to discover the life changing message of the Bible.We do this by providing trained teachers to help guide you on your spiritual journey of Discovering Life. Each Bible Study group is designed to accomplish three primary tasks. REACHING out to new people and welcoming them to First Baptist, TEACHING people the Bible for knowledge and application to their lives and CARING for one another in both good and difficult times of life.
