First Baptist Norfolk gathers for corporate worship 8 times each Sunday. All of our gatherings have a unique personality. The 9:30 and 11:00 Worship Center gatherings are multi-generational and the more popular and are the long-established gatherings at First Baptist. Below you'll find a brief description of each so you can better have an idea which one you may want to attend. One of the questions we often get is "What do I wear?" Our atmosphere is casual and people wear T-shirts and jeans to dresses and suits.
A multi-generational gathering featuring a mix of traditional and modern worship music led by our choir, orchestra (except 8:00) and rhythm section most Sundays, but occasionally other groups lead. We sing the same songs at each gathering. Pastor Eric presents the message.
