Life Groups is the small group ministry at First Baptist Norfolk. Being a part of a Life Group will connect you with a group of friends who care for each other, and together grow in their faith through Bible Study and Fellowship. The name Life Groups replaces the names Sunday Bible Study or Sunday School.
This name change, along
with the terms On Campus and Off Campus, reflects that these groups can
have a variety of days, times, or locations. Currently space on campus
at 9:30 and 11 AM on Sundays is very limited. This change allows opportunities
for weeknight Life Groups in homes or other locations. Current On Campus
groups will continue to meet as usual.
The common name helps us communicate that
regardless of location, the groups share the same mission - Reach,
Teach, and Care! If you are not
currently connected to a Life Group, please stop by Guest
Services in the Lobby to find a group that is a great fit for you!
